4. Rubbish and recycling

Household waste must be sorted according to certain categories and you will find 3 bins inside Le Gîte for general rubbish, paper/packaging and for food waste.

For all recycling, you should dispose of waste in the containers 100 meters from Le Click on the relevant yellow button below the gîte, opposite the village hall. There you will find containers for Paper and Packaging, Glass and Cardboard. For Non-Recyclable rubbish (general waste), we will take care of it at the end of your stay or on request.

Paper and packaging: Plastic bottles and packaging, metal packaging, beverage cartons and all paper can be collected together in the bin in Le Gîte.

Food: We have a composting bin so ask you to collect your food waste in the specific bin and let us know when it needs emptying.

General waste (non-recyclable): This goes into a bin in a black bag (according to French rules). A maximum of 1 X 30 litre bags of general waste per person is included in the rental per week. Additional waste (per 30 litres bag) is subject to a charge of €3.

Glass and cardboard must be kept separate and disposed of in the containers opposite the village hall

You will find a reserve of bags under the sink. Click on the relevant yellow button below  for a reference sheet to help you know how to sort each item.
